AGENCY OVERVIEW
Ability Network is a Missouri Corporation founded in 1990 by Leslie Elpers. It is the largest early intervention agency in Missouri providing services to over 700 infants and toddlers and their families. Ability Network is a contracting agency for Missouri First Steps, various local school districts and State Schools throughout Missouri, the Missouri Department of Mental Health and various Senate Bill 40 Boards. Our network includes Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapists, as well as Special Instructors, Teachers of Blind/Visually Impaired, Teachers of Deaf/Hearing Impaired, Orientation and Mobility Specialists, Behavior Specialists, Sign Language Interpreters and others. These therapists are primarily scattered throughout Missouri to serve the needs of children and families in rural and other underserved geographical areas.
